I have always been fascinated with the concept of identity and the manner in which it can be assembled and disassembled over time. With the creation of digital filters, layered with the obfuscation of virtual interfaces, we are learning that identity is becoming even more complex. The feminine identity has seen its fair share of painful distortion, with that in mind, for this Artist-Curated Exhibition, I created a series of “reflections” that blur the lines of reality. Each photograph was created by capturing the distorted image using the moisture collected on the bathroom mirror after my daily shower over the course of a year.
